In the past, magazines like Rockpile, Pavement (N.Z.), CW, Skyscraper and Measure have stumbled through my office doors, along with my main squeeze, the aforementioned Tiny Mix Tapes, where I currently serve as Features Editor.
DrownedInSound, Nudeasthenews.com, Fensepost.com and Spin.com have also inquired within (or vice-versa, truth be told) over the years.
UPDATE: I have just been confirmed as the new Out-Rock columnist (I’ll be taking over Ray Cummings‘ mexcellent “Smokin’ that Rock” column) for Signal to Noise, my by-far favorite print mag! First column will have JUST hit newsstands … run out and buy a copy and KEEP PRINT ALIVE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Thank you for such a great site. I love it!
damn, this could be a spammer but i’ll accept the praise because my ego could use a boost …
hi there. i’m wondering if you could help me find downloads of a band called Trollin Withdrawal. i have searched and searched and ended up with only a bad case of hemroids. please help…with the downloads not with the hemroids.
wow, a case! well, seeing as I’ve got exactly one other case to work on, SURE! I’ll see what I can do …
ok, so I found this to start off with: A download of Swirlies’ What to do About Them … the were the band that came after Trollin Withdrawal (which I’m sure you know) and contained the same members or at least close to it …
I will continue to look and let you know what else i find!
Good review style, unlike some “writers” who have done reviews for me in the past. I’ll probably be sending some stuff your way soon. I only do real CD releases at the moment (sorry for that, but I think you’ll like some of it anyway). And I just made on of my releases a totally free download on Bandcamp (stoner/doom metal band called Yama), so feel free to check it out. Thanks man.
send it along, that’s how the world goes ’round!
