Cerberus Round-Up 1-8-2013

Cerberus: Live it, love it.

While I collect my thoughts, here’s the latest round of “Cerberus” installments, via the mighty Tiny Mix Tapes. Of particular interest is theBabe, Terror, release. One of my first Gumshoe Grove cases was a mysterious CD-R of theirs, and the “Knights” 12-inch realizes everything I knew they could be in the beginning and more, from the music found within to the visual bonanza it most definitely is as well. Gnod’s “5th Sun” and Burial Hex’s “Six Wings” also kill all sorts of ass.

Eat it:

Babe, Terror – “Knights” 12-inch LP – Phantasy Sound

Hot Lunch – “Killer Smile” 7-inch – Who Can You Trust?

Cedric Stevens – “Stardust / Moon Loop” 7-inch – Discrepant

Gnod – “5th Sun” 7-inch – Trensmat

The Unwed Teenage Mothers – self-titled 7-inch – Speakertree

Burial Hex – “Six Wings” 12-inch LP – Nostilevo

Servile Sect – “Svrrender” 12-inch LP – King of the Monsters

Chris North – “Near, Far, All We Are” 10-inch – Whitehaus

Weird TV – self-titled 12-inch – Perennial
