New Top-10, Album of the Week #29 [Curiosities #107]

HIYOOO!

Here’s my new Top-10, and feast yr eyes on a fresh-’n'-dandy (or would that be dandy-’n'-fresh?) Album of the Week: Himalaya‘s self-titled record [self-released].

As Type-O-Negative would say, “Yo hooo / Yo hoooo / Yo hooooooooooo” …

1. Robby Moncrief (Maybe I didn’t give him enough affection before, so here it is. )

2. Blues (Great Corrossive Records band. Vicious.)
3. Linear B Tapes (Young label is off to a great start.)
4. Matta Gawa (Hey, why not; ya did good kid, real good.)
5. Graveyards (Just about to throw their anonymous Troubleman 2XLP in.)
6. St. Ives (One of the best tiny labels out there.)
7. David Tibet (Current 93 and more.)
8. Aerosol Constellations (Great split one-sided LP with Born Without Bones on Isolated Now Waves.)
9. Niobe (Will anyone listen to my plea[s] for more-more-more Niobe?)
10. Sinaloa (Anyone remember these guys? Recorded for Level Plane, Ebullition and more.
