This is part of a project I have in the works; figured I'd throw out a sneak-peek. Notice the unpainted patterns, which aren't part of the sticker and SERVE NO PURPOSE, and thus have remained mostly paint-free.
I just got a 300-CD changer for $20 so I have to gloat a little. As everyone rushes to get rid of their CDs and CD equipment, I reap the benefits.
Oh, din’t ya know CDs are the latest retro craze?
Just filled up the 300-discer using mostly random promos and stuff that was lying around, just to give those vagrant albums a home. For the hell of it, I threw in a bunch of Bob Dylan albums, just to be somewhat predictable.
I figured I’d share my list with you. I don’t have it color-coded yet but it’s all compiled and ready to play, as I’m listening to A Perfect Circle right now and about to make a three-move switch to Eleven’s self-titled wreck of a record.
I did mention I put a lot of older, geekier records — circa Marcy Playground — in here didn’t I? I should have … Not sure if I went as far as putting Tru and King George in there, but I went with a “surprise around every corner” motif.
Will this list be a popular post? My instincts say NO, but then again I misjudge Internet readers time and time again. Sigh-shudder-sulk …
