The punk-rock explosion is poised and ready to blow up in our excited, trembling hands at any minute.
Enjoy it while you can; I’m not saying today’s punkers/post-punkers/psych-punkers/sludge-punkers/etc. rival the ferocity of the late ’70s/early ’80s onslaught, but they sure as hell are trying. It’s everywhere.
Woven Bones fit right into the “revival” and sound more like a traditional punk band than most of the current crop, which works to their advantage because their jams are strangely familiar yet new.
