Well, as much as I hoped I would be reinvigorated in my interest, this recent acoustic performance of “I Believe in Nothing” is even flatter than Everything Goes Wrong. And that’s saying something.
Also, I know it’s sort of indie-cool to seem awkward during performances, but is it really necessary to act like it’s your first show in front of a live audience? This is truly painful for me to watch, and you’re reading the words of someone who fell in love with the Vivians’ debut. Alas …
